Shrimps harpoon

This is a fresh water shrimp fishing spear I saw the first time in the Marquesas islands in the Pacific Ocean. It is a pole with at the end a crown of spikes pointing out, similar to the one in the picture, but with more spikes. Local people wade in streams and ponds to find shrimps and prawns and spear them, then holding the haspoon to the bottom take the shrimp by hand.
